What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health and peak performance. Nutritional Therapy can identify potential nutritional imbalances and how these contribute to symptoms. This approach allows the nutritional therapist to work with people on many levels by addressing nutritional imbalances and supporting the body towards maintaining health.
Why Nutritional Therapy?
How are you feeling? Stressed, feeling tired, sluggish, unexplained aches and pains, arthritis type symptoms or feeling down because of your weight? Do you suffer from headaches or have digestive issues such as IBS or skin issues such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or even acne? Do you suspect you may have allergies or food intolerances and after several visits to the doctor they cannot find anything wrong?
What can I do to help?
By taking the time to listen and understand you as an individual, this will enable me to build a picture and establish the potential underlying causes and contributory factors to your health issues. Then by working together this will enable me to prepare an individualised plan to suit you. For example digestive health is of particular importance, having a fundamental impact on the whole body that could affect the immune system, and/or how efficiently the liver functions, which may all have an overall impact on your general health, including aches and pains, feeling tired and sluggish, how your skin looks and feels, brain function and even on the ability to lose weight.
"If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much we would have found the safest way to health."
